Wemik Pordec - The Grey Jedi

I came from the Rodian homeworld, taken in by the Jedi Order when I was a boy. But that order has fallen into extinction, and I stand here without a way, a path, or a purpose.
I was a Knight when the order fell, and I went into hiding, on Endor, until the Death Star was destroyed by the Alliance. I follow their cause, mainly because the Sith have caused too much chaos and destruction to be left alive. Chaos is a good thing, so is Order, however they have to be in perfect balance or the Galaxy would implode upon itself. And so I wander the known galaxy, looking for adventure wherever and whenever I can. If there is one constant in the universe, it's death and I intend to postpone mine as long as possible.
THE JEDI CODE
There is no emotion; there is peace.
There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no passion; there is serenity.
There is no death; there is the Force.
I used to follow this Code, up until the order was destroyed by Anakin Skywalker. Now, I don't know. If something so small contains so much wisdom, how were the Jedi Masters unable to see their own demise?
THE SITH CODE
Peace is a lie,There is only passion
Through passion I gain strength
Through strength I gain power
Through power I gain victory
Through victory my chains are broken
The Force shall set me free
I have never followed this code, although I begin to see its truth. However if this one is the true way, why have the Sith been wiped out time and time again?
Perhaps I will find my own way. I have taken a young Sith Apprentice, Tortugah, as my Padawan. Perhaps together we can form a new order, one that is not as narrow-minded as the Jedi, or the Sith.
